ABOUT THIS SPACE
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
▪️ This 17th century stone townhouse (2nd picture) is in the heart of Ormea - a village on the Ligurian Alps in northern Italy and setting of the movie "Call me Levi" - is ideal for digital nomads, outdoor sport lovers, families.
▪️ River a short walk away.
▪️ Beach, French Riviera and wine country are easy day trips.
▪️ Yet you can stay here without a car and have everything at reach: restaurants, food shopping, bars, hikes; even a little cinema.
This apartment spreads out on 4 floors plus terrace:
GROUND FLOOR
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
▪️ Entrance/coat room with funky marble floors and brick vaults.
Plenty of room to hang coats, change shoes, and a marble sink to wash hands and fill up water bottles.
▪️ Living room with wood stove, mini-fridge, TV and sofa to sit 2, plus lounge chair and a pouf chair so comfortable you might never get up!
This has become our favourite little space to lounge in the evenings.
FIRST FLOOR

▪️ Bedroom 1: Light-filled, window and balcony with traditional clothes line; French double bed, lovely floor from early 20th century.
▪️ Laundry room with washer and dryer, and large bathroom with large shower and balcony.
SECOND FLOOR
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
▪️ Bedroom 2: with window and balcony; queen size bed with views of the mountains and lovely floor from early 20th century.
▪️ Bedroom 3: with balcony; bunk beds.
▪️ Micro toilet (so no stairs if you need it in the middle of the night!).
THIRD FLOOR
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
▪️ Kitchen with balcony and window. Kitchen has fridge/freezer, induction stovetop, microwave and eating space.
▪️ Dining room: Light-filled, with window and balcony. Round table opens to seat 8. This floor gets light from everywhere!
▪️ Mini-bathroom, so you never have to go downstairs in a hurry.
ROOFTOP TERRACE
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
▪️ 360 degree view: you can see (and hear!) 2 church bell towers, the mountains on both sides, and the whole town. Outdoor furniture, hammock and lights.
▪️ The rooftop terrace is completely private. However as we wait for new safe railing to be delivered, a section of the terrace is not accessible, for safety reasons.

▪️ For parties of 1 or 2, Bedroom 1 will be made available.
▪️ For parties of 3 or 4, Bedroom 1 and 2 or 3 will be made available.
▪️ For parties of 5 or 6, all 3 bedrooms will be made available.
1) Charm, character, glorious sunlight and views; only few steps to pizzerias, cafes, restaurants, hikes, playground and river.
BUT: MANY STAIRS! The flight to the last floor, in particular, is very steep.
(There are hand rails.)
2) UTILITIES are NOT INCLUDED in the nightly price.
The cost can vary largely, based on season, weather, personal preference.
Charging based on usage allows us to keep the nightly cost as low as possible, and our guests be in control of how much they consume.
The meters are at your disposal to check count at arrival and departure, and to monitor your usage.
You will be charged via Airbnb Resolution Centre, after check out.
On a cold winter day, if you spend the day at home and want to stay cosy, your heat use can reach 25€/day. We have decided NOT to incorporate this cost in the nightly price for 3 important reasons:
